Overlap Associates talk the future of children

Kicking off at 4pm, Overlap's visitors started to arrive to hear about what they have planned to help the future for children. After a short welcome from president and chief relationship officer, Lisa Grogan, Counciller, Lisa Mulherin took to the mic to provide a 'Welcome to Leeds' message. Expanding to Leeds is a big step for Overlap and one they are certainly very excited about.

John Grogan, MP of Keighley, then stepped in to give a warm welcome to Overlap and their speakers for the launch event.

Colin Philpott ran the panel which included Meg French the Campaign Lead from UNICEF 'Every Child Alive', Tom Riordan the Chief Executive for Leeds City Council, Katie Schmuecker the Head of Policy Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Samuel Cliff from Leeds Youth Parliament and Brock Hart, Overlap's own CEO. Each person contributed to a fantastic discussion covering young people's voices and influence for the future, alos touching on wellbeing and child proverty.

We can't wait to see Overlap grow and the work they're going to do for our children's future!
