Tracey Welch Exhibition, 5.00 - 7.00pm
01 February
I've spent around ten years working towards this point. Following my degree in Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University I did a Masters in photography at Leicester de Montfort and also lectured in photography before making the leap as a full time professional. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to work with some really diverse clients including Ted Baker, Barclays Bank and Dyslexia Action. I'm also signed to deliver music photography for London picture agency Retna which gives me a professional excuse to pursue a personal passion!
Along the way, I've delivered a broad range of product and service photography for UK businesses, both at home and internationally, and I really enjoy the discipline of working in a corporate context. Imagery can play a huge role in establishing credibility and reputation and as a photographer it's great to have an opportunity to make that kind of impact.
Whilst the The Round Foundry exhibition will be a collection of portraits, you'll find almost every area of my work represented and it should give you a sense of how I view the world. As a dyslexic myself, words can sometimes present a bit of a barrier so images become that much more important in delivering an effective and engaging narrative.
I hope to see you at the preview event to share photographs, a drink or two and some lovely food. RSVP as soon as possible so that I can add your name to the guest list.
