SimpleUsability are leaders in the field for market research, usability and eye tracking working to improve user journeys on websites or in-store.  Businesses are able to maximise the impact of their websites, store layouts, email campaigns or print material by applying specialist human behavioural and eye tracking skills.  

They were previously located in the Innovation Centre on York Science Park. They now work throughout Europe from their base here at the Round Foundry Media Centre. The team, fronted by Guy Redwood, have over 15 years' experience on web usability. Guy says they are "realistic about attainable results and have a keen eye for quick wins".

Since being at the Round Foundry they have grown from one office to two.  One office holds an eye tracking suite, which is available to all of their customers.  The room has multiple built in cameras used to capture all the details of the research sessions and is kitted out with all the latest usability testing and eye tracking software.  The other room hosts an observation suite where clients can come and watch testing take place as well as the general hub of office life.

The Round Foundry Media Centre appealed to Guy because of its sheer look, and the quality and friendliness of its neighbours. He also liked its location, offering flexibility of recruitment as his research relies strongly on recruiting participants against specific profiles. Guy says "we are only a 5 minute walk from Leeds city centre and train station. There are also a great variety of meeting rooms for running workshops with customers".

As the business grows so do the services that are offered and in the new year Guy announced “we will be seeing quite a few changes which we dramatically change the way in which future research is carried out especially by us at SimpleUsability.  We love being based in the media centre as it is an aspirational building within the new media scene of Leeds.  We can also take our clients to some top quality bars and restaurants that are right on our doorstep.  At the end of the day, we run a successful business, and to do this it helps if we are around other successful businesses.”
