AWA was founded by current Chairman Alasdair Wightman in 2004 and has grown to occupy the Round Foundry Media Centre’s most prominent suite, at the heart of the building. 

Having first arrived in March 2006, AWA has just completed their move to the central offices on the first floor, becoming the biggest employer of RFMC-based staff.

Commenting on being sited at the Round Foundry Media Centre, Alasdair said, “This location is doubly important for us. Firstly, we’re in the heart of Leeds’ creative and digital industries and secondly, being in the city centre, we’ve been able to recruit some of the very best digital talent in the region.”
